BRITTANI GIVES THE EVIL EYE

So Brittani had a band concert last week and she only took band to get the credit and hated every minute of it this year. So the night of the band concert I wanted to get pictures of my beautiful girl with my other 2 beautiful girls but Brittani was NOT cooperative! She didn't want to be at a "stupid band concert" and did NOT want me to take pictures of her going to such a "stupid" event. LOL!

MY MOTHER'S DAY

So my mother's day was WONDERFUL! I woke up to a yummy breakfast in bed by Gus and ALL the kids. Cody and Marcelo gave me WONDERFUL homemade cards and gifts. Gus got me a gift card for Old Navy, Jeff gave me a a homemade card with a gift card for Steve & Barry's (my newest love) and Britt made me a homemade card and also secretly bought me a pair of Crocs! This was followed by a gloriously long bubble bath, shopping at Lowe's for plants, and then having my mom and dad over for lasagna and Wii playin fun!

So Jeff finally did it. He bought a Wii and of course we all had to try it. I've only got a couple pictures as I was too busy playing and laughing at everyone cuz it was SOOO FUN to play! Oh and Brittani is still dressed in her LaCrosse practice clothes in these pictures... (she doesn't normally dress like that) LOL. :)

CINCO DE MAYO

Our Cinco de Mayo wasn't anything special. Gus had to work late so it was just me and the kids (and Jeff's girlfriend) so we celebrated simply with pizza, bean dip and margaritas (virgin for the all the kids). It was still fun and we all love Mexican food so it was all good! I had planned on making carnitas but with Gus not being here I figured I would make them later in the week when he could enjoy them also.

BRITT'S VOLLEYBALL SATURDAY

So Brittani had a volleyball tournament last Saturday. It was just for fun. The girls all picked their own teams (they were only allowed to have 2 'real' volleyball players on each team and the rest had to be kids there are not on the school team. It was fun to watch. The teachers even had a team. Pretty funny. Britt's team lost EVERY game. LOL. They still had a blast though!!
