TUESDAY FUNDRAISER
These beautiful pendants have been made specially for Tuesday by Mark, a wonderful designer at HomeStudios. My good friend Sharlene went to him and asked him if he would be willing to design a piece for her to be sold for a fundraiser and instead he has designed two beautiful pieces and is offering 10% of his profits for ALL sales from now until Valentine's Day to go towards Tuesday's fight against neuroblastoma. This includes purchases of any of the items in his store! This is a HUGE gift!
These pieces are incredible, affordable & handcrafted
on Scrabble tiles! There are so many beautiful designs to choose from and even gift sets that include the necklaces as well.
Please take the time to look at his pieces and remember that you are helping a very sick little girl in the process.

* If you do make a purchase, please put "FOR TUESDAY" in the comment section on your ETSY form so that Mark knows this is for the fundraiser.
Note: Due to the already high demand (thank you!), many people have told me they go to purchase something and it says sold out. If this is the case, scroll to the very bottom of the page and select contact seller and let him know what you want. He will email you back and make sure you get it!

POTTY TIME
The girls are LOVING being big girls and “peeing on the potty”, but the only problem is that they aren’t really doing anything when they are on the potty! They like to sit and say they need to go potty but nothing ever happens! Good thing is that they don’t have accidents either. Very strange. I guess they hold it because they know they aren’t supposed to pee on the floor but I’m thinking they just don’t know how to ‘let go’ on the potty yet. Hopefully soon though!
I haven’t gotten any pictures of Kalia on the potty yet because she doesn’t like to have her diaper off for very long. But Sofiya LOVES to run around the house with just a shirt on. She’ll go HOURS without nothing on from the waste down!
The other day she had a shirt and high socks and slippers! It was hilarious!

FUN IN THE SNOW
So as you know we had a huge snow fall last week. The bigger kids all had fun playing in the snow. We went to my grandma’s on the weekend (she lives next to a golf course with big hills) and the kids had a blast sledding down the big hill! The twins didn’t get to go because I haven’t gotten them snowsuits yet. BAD MOMMY!
Here are the girls noticing the huge amount of snow on the deck for the first time!
More fun in the snow pics..

OUR CHRISTMAS
Ok finally up to Christmas!
Our Christmas was wonderful. My brother, Brian, came home a couple days before Christmas and we've been spending lots of wonderful time with him, playing board games, video games, and just chatting it up. So very nice to have him home.
Christmas morning was so wonderful. The kids woke us up at 6. (thanks a lot for that! LOL) and everyone ran down the stairs (sans babies) to see what Santa brought them. Soon paper was flying, kids were smiling (and crying in Britt's case - tears of joy) and cameras were flashing and recording. Santa was very good to the kids again this year!
The babies woke up a few hours later and just tore into their gifts (after learning what to do with presents the night before). Once Kalia opened up her twin babydolls and stroller, she was set! She kept screaming "Ope it, Ope it!!". Sofiya then opened up her stroller and they pushed their babies around in the strollers for the rest of the day!
Grandma, Pappy, Great Grandma, Uncle Brian and Uncle Johnny arrived late morning and with them came lots more presents! The babies were so thrilled to see the 2 GIANT presents were for them (little tykes and step 2 cars) and proceeded to drive around in their cars (with babies in tow) the rest of the day!
The older kids really made out too with video games, a new Xbox 360, PSP, Nintendo DS, Star Wars toys, clothes, clothes, clothes (for Britt) and much much more. I have no idea why family needs to spoil them so... but they LOVE it!
We had a big ham for dinner, followed by pies and cookies. YUM!
A few pictures of our day.

CHRISTMAS EVE!
Ok so we're up to Christmas Eve!
Every year on Christmas Eve mommy and daddy always give the kids new pj's. And this year Jeff decided to give his brothers and sisters their gifts on Christmas Eve as well. So the girls got to open their very first Christmas gifts (that they are aware of) and they really enjoyed it! Took them no time at all to get the hang of it! Before long they were stealing everyone's gifts to open! LOL!
Jeff got the girls Elefun (which they LOVE), a couple movies and a magnadoodle (love). He got Marcelo, Brittani and Cody video games.
Here are a "few" pictures of our evening. Notice all the kids playing Elefun.

BAKING WITH MOMMY
For the first time Kalia & Sofiya got to help mommy bake Christmas cookies. It was so fun to see them try to cut out the shapes (they did really well actually) and roll the dough out. :) (In the one picture it looks like Sofiya was trying to hit Kalia with the rolling pin but I assure you, she wasn't. LOL)
Marcelo put on the sprinkles and in the oven they went. This went on for about 10 minutes then mommy was left to finish the rest. ;)
They turned out so yummy too!
