18 MONTH STATS

So the girlies went for their 18 month dr. appointment today. Here are their stats:

Kalia:
Weight: 18.8 lbs (she's in the less than 3rd percentile)
Height: 29 3/4 (she's in the 5th-10th percentile)

Sofiya:
Weight: 17.2 lbs (she's in the less than 3rd percentile)
Height: 29 inches

They are both still so very tiny. The doctor is sending them for bloodwork just to make sure all is ok but he is almost positive it's just genetics. (not from me that's for sure lol). He's also sending Sofiya to see an ENT due to her tonsils being severely swollen since birth. More than likey she is going to have to have surgery to have them removed and maybe her adenoids too. Nice.

ANOTHER SOCCER GAME

Posted by Picasa
Marcelo had his weekly soccer game on Saturday and he did AWESOME! No goals this time, but he played REALLY hard! He fought for the ball, ran fast, and defended very well, including when he was goalie for a bit. We're so proud of you Marcelo!

MARCELO'S TURN..

Posted by Picasa
Marcelo got his haircut!
We had never taken him to a salon especially for kids and he LOVED it! He got to watch a movie while riding a motorcycle and getting his haircut. Doesn't he look much more handsome with his new cut?

SOCCER

Marcelo had a soccer game on Saturday and although we were freezing our butts off, he did very well and scored 2 GOALS! Yay Marcelo!

WEEKEND AT BERNIE'S (oops I mean SHERI'S!!)

Kalia in her almost famous comfort pose

Love this picutre of Brittani and Sofiya holding hands

Sofiya loved touching all the animals in the petting zoo, especially the bunnies

Kalia refused to touch any of the animals until right before we left and ONLY the bunnies.

Kalia is such a girl! She absolutely loved playing dress up at Sheri's.

So for my 1st post I'm going to tell you about my past weekend. We had an absolutely WONDERFUL weekend with our friends Sheri and Dawn, their husbands and ALL the babies. Sheri and Dawn are good friends of mine that also have twins. We went for a visit last weekend and stayed at Sheri's house (in Michigan) for a long weekend. We had such a great time and Sheri was such a wonderful host and we appreciated her letting us (me, brittani, Kalia and Sofiya) stay there. I'm sure it was hard having 4 extra people for 4 days! We actually got to play outside (temps were great), went to parks, went on walks, and just let all the babies play together while us women chatted it up and ate up all the warm weather we could get!

We enjoyed the warm weather for most of this past week as well. Getting lots of time out on the deck and in the yard. The girls had a great time other than when Kalia thought acorns would be a tastely snack and I had to scoop 2 out of her mouth! It was fun while it lasted... temps are back in the 40's today! Uggh!!

WELL WE FINALLY DID IT...

We've joined the wonderful world of blogging! God, what have I gotten myself into?? Please bear with me as I get used to this new form of expressing myself.

Easter!

Pappy and Kalia

Handsome Marcelo

Who is that good looking boy? Oh it's Cody!

Our beautiful Brittani striking her best pose.

The kids all got WAAY too much candy. The Easter Bunny hid all their baskets and it was the older kids who had the hardest time finding theirs. LOL! We had a big dinner of ham, parslied potatoes, sweet potato casserole and veggies. And of course pies for dessert. Grandma and Pappy came over for dinner and spent lots of time with their favorite grandchildren (we have the only grandchildren LOL).
