FOOD TIMES!

So I've found out that my girls LOVE tomatoes! So much so that they'll just pick some from the garden and chow down! Hey, at least it's healthy right??

And this one was just too funny not to post. 'Someone' was enjoying some cake on Gramma's birthday!

IT'S ALL ABOUT TUESDAY!

So I know some of you are interested in how Baby Tuesday is doing and thought since today is TUESDAY that it would be cool to do an update. :)

We have some good news that came through last night... Tuesday has been taken off a more powerful ventilator to a conventional ventilator. Yes.. she's still on a vent but this is HUGE! The doctors are hoping to get her off the vent all together soon! Please pray this happens so that she can be off the vent before she does her 2nd round of chemo which will be around the 17th. While little Tuesday is on a vent her mom and dad, Jessica and Charley, aren't allowed to hold her. Please pray that she gets well enough ASAP for her parents to hold her. I think they both really need that comfort. I can't even begin to imagine not being able to hold my sick baby. It must be so hard for both the parents and poor little Tuesday.

A bit more good news is that Tuesday has also been passing some fluids and is starting to "just look better". PRAISE GOD!!! She is still in critical condition but KEEP PRAYING!! IT IS WORKING!!

KALIA PEED IN THE POTTY!!

That's right! Our little baby, all of 21 months old, peed in the potty! And can you believe that I wasn't even here for it??? I'm with her 24 hours a day almost every single day and yet I wasn't here for her first potty experience. :( Brittani was actually watching her while I took Jeff to look at his car (before he bought it) and she called me all EXCITED saying that Kalia peed in the potty!! I thought she was joking but nope it was true! I guess Brittani had to go pee and she took Kalia with her and Kalia started pulling on her diaper so Britt took it off and low and behold, Kalia sat down and soon Britt heard the little trickles of liquid going in the potty! What a big girl she is!

I'M SO PROUD OF MY LITTLE GIRL!! (I guess this means she's not a baby anymore :(( boohoo!!)

STAY OFF THE SIDEWALKS!

Yes.. that's right.. Jeff finally got his driver's license!!! (After 4 tries!! LOL) AND he bought a car of his very own. It's pretty nice too! It's a 2005 Chevy Cavalier. I'm not going to lie.. it sure is better than my first car. We're so proud of him. He's worked hard, saved up and now has a decent car to show for it. WAY TO GO JEFF!

I do have to say that as a mom this is a truly terrifying experience... having your child driving on their own. You think you worry when they're young... but you really have no idea what worrying is until they start going off on their own. Especially when they start driving! It's crazy!! Keep 'em young as long as possible! That's what I say!!

I'm asking everyone I know to please say a prayer for the daughter of a very good friend of mine. She has Stage 4 Neuroblastoma (cancer).

Her name is Tuesday and she is 21 months old. She has a twin sister and 2 older brothers who along with her parents, need all of our prayers for strength.

We are all just so heartbroken over this. She was fine 2 weeks ago and now she is fighting for her life.
